You look for him, you'll just unearth a bunch of nasty stuff. And I wanna go home, so I'm gonna call this case closed, OK?.ĭetective: When you call him, does he pick up?ĭetective: OK, so you've been dating for 3 months and you don't have a key to his place.ĭetective: You bug him on the phone, eventually he's gonna get fed up and he leaves. It was almost our anniversary.ĭetective: And there wasn't a note? No "I'm going on vacation"?ĭetective: No, Mrs Kissenger, I think you got dumped. Melissa: But Huggard and I call every day, and he's been radio silent for 2! I'd check his house, but I don't have a key.ĭetective: How long have you been together? Melissa: Should we go to an office, or.?ĭetective: No, let's do this quick, right here. Kissy (Narrating): It began on a night like this, in a police station not too far from here. (We see a police station near Playtime Co.) This isn't a happy story, but you'll be gone before we get to the scary part. Doesn't it feel good to let go? I'll even tell you a story while you drift away. (Kissy wraps her arms around the toymaker so tight she can't breathe, and begins cradling her.) Kissy: Oh, there's been a terrible misunderstanding! My hugs don't hurt at all - you'll be dead before the pain comes! Toymaker: Don't hurt me! I'm warning you! (Kissy Missy backs a toymaker into a corner.)
